St. Christopher’s is an eight-sided log church that was constructed during the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was designed by local craftsman, Henry Henkel, and built with the help of Haines Junction community members. The building’s warm atmosphere and marvelous acoustics make it an ideal venue for acoustic performances. Musical groups such as the Mark Atkinson Trio, Reischmann and Miller, as well as Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival artists have performed here.
Most of JAM’s sound equipment is portable and can be used at this venue.
