“The Lucky Ones” are truly a Yukon band, the 5 band members live in different parts of our vast northern territory. They are inspired by the kind of old time country music that is still very much alive in Canada’s Territories and near by Alaska.

Band members are Ryan James West (mandolin, guitar, vocals) ,JD McCallen (guitar, vocals), Ian Smith (guitar, vocals), Jerome Belanger (upright bass) and another Ryan – Ryan McNally (banjo, fiddle).

Anne Louise Genest (Annie Lou), a songwriter, composer, and performer with a deeply-felt connection to older folk music traditions.
Annie (vocals, guitar, banjo) is joined by her longtime friend Sarah Hamilton on fiddle and vocals.
