Dutch Handsome & the Ransoms from Whitehorse, Yukon, delivers a unique blend of old-time hillbilly, cowboy blues, and honky-tonk music. Formed in 2025, this group is led by Alex Johnston, formerly of the Midnight Suns Band, on vocals and acoustic guitar, with Sam Newman on lead guitar. The rhythm section features Genesee Keevil on upright bass and Patrick Singh on drums.
We recorded their show at the St Elias Convention Centre in Haines Junction, Yukon, in March 2026.
