This is part two of our two-part series featuring the country band “Justin Sutton & North of 49” from Alberta.
This band combines traditional country sounds with a contemporary twist. This blend of the old and new creates a unique Canadian sound that resonates with the audiences.
Justin Sutton on lead vocals and acoustic guitar is joined by Mat Patenaude on bass to Jordan Leden on guitar, Darla Daniels on fiddle, Adam James on keys, and Craig Doll on drums. Guest appearance by Alberta singer/songwriter Cruz Vallis on vocals.
We recorded their show at the St Elias Convention Centre in Haines Junction, Yukon, in December 2025.
