This episode features Yukon’s super band MAJOR FUNK. Their highly danceable grooves and funky infectious energy keep audiences engaged at their live shows.
They’ve been together since bandleader and bassist Etienne Girard formed the band in 2014. Years of touring and working in the studio has refined the band’s soul-infused brassy funk sound into something familiar but fresh, epic but accessible, and dangerous but irresistible.
Major Funk are Selina Heyligers-Hare on vocals and keys, Adrian Burrill on vocals and trumpet, Brent Gallant on guitar, Etienne Girard on bass and Anders Grasholm on drums.
