This episode features jazz vocalist Telek Rogan and her quintet from Whitehorse, Yukon.
In October 2024, the Telek Rogan Quintet performed at the Old Fire Hall in Whitehorse .
Her show at the Old Fire Hall was put together as a chance for Telek to revisit some of her early musical inspirations, and to reflect on her relationships with her parents and how those connections shaped her relationship with jazz.
Telek was joined her on stage by pianist Andy Slade, Graeme Peters on drums, trumpeter Oliver Clements and Louis Rudner on upright bass.
