Tom Connor
In this episode we feature Yukon’s vibraphonist Tom Connor and his quartet “Parker Thomas Jazz”. Tom picked the quartet’s name to pay respect to Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and to the great jazz improviser Charlie Parker.
The group performed in front of a live audience at the Old Fire Hall in Whitehorse, Yukon, in April 2011, with Tom Connor (vibes), Annie Avery (piano), Ed White (drums) and Andrew Thompson (bass).
