Junction Arts & Music Presents: Glacier Nights Snow Festival March 6–7, 2026 ~ Snow Sculpting, Live Music, and Winter Fun Light Up Haines Junction
Haines Junction, YT — Junction Arts & Music (JAM) is excited to welcome the community back for the 4th annual Glacier Nights Snow Festival, taking place March 6–7 in the heart of Haines Junction. This much-loved winter celebration brings together snow, art, music, food, and plenty of opportunities to connect—Yukon-style.
At the heart of Glacier Nights is the Snow Sculpting, where artists transform massive blocks of snow into striking works of art. Joshua Lesage is the festival’s featured professional snow sculptor, carving a dramatic 10’ x 10’ block that will be unveiled Friday night. Additional smaller blocks are reserved for the Amateur Snow Sculpting Competition, taking place Saturday afternoon and open to all skill levels. Over the course of the event, visitors can watch the sculptures take shape and enjoy the creativity and craftsmanship that has made Glacier Nights a signature winter celebration.
Adding to the excitement, Glacier Nights Snow Festival will feature live music performances from Yukon favorites, Dutch Handsome & The Ransoms, as well as Qualité Hôtel, an energetic band from Quebec, bringing a mix of sounds to warm up the winter nights.
The festival offers something for all ages, including:
- A silent auction raffle
- Kids’ activities hosted by RPAY and the Boys & Girls Club
