After completing a 3 year apprenticeship in ceramics in 1997, Monika Steputh jumped straight into self-employment at her independent ceramics studio and gallery. Over the years, she has instructed many students, participated in group exhibits, and developed small and large potter projects with both youth and adults.

In this class, students will be enabled to design and bring to life their very own ceramic buttons. For added guidance, students are encouraged (but not required) to bring in a clothing piece that they would like to apply the buttons to. This class is not limited to buttons, and will also teach the elements involved in creating beaded ornaments and brooches.
Pieces will be fired by the artist and available for shipping or pick-up at a later date.
