Lisa Preto has been sewing fur from her family trapline for 3 years. In the 2015/2016 season, Lisa turned this passion into a business and started up the Minus 40 Fur Co, selling a variety of hand-sewn fur products at home and internationally. Lisa has worked extensively with youth and looks forward to coaching kids as they bring to life their own creations.
Children’s Costume Design:

Sunday, August 14th, 1:30-3:30pm
Kids will use floral wire, felt, glue, and scrap fur to create fun, scary, or mythical masks. This workshop will encourage exploration and creativity with natural materials as well as introduce the use of fur in an interesting and unfamiliar way.
This workshop will be incorporating waste materials, teaching the potential in small scraps that plays such a large role in the ‘green’ approach to many arts and industries
