A graduate of the Northwest Coast Jewelry program, Heather has gone on to create beautiful works in the Yukon community. Her pieces often place a great importance on honouring the natural environment around us and will frequently make use of recycled materials. Heather has taught at many schools in Yukon, as well as UBC summer camps and Splintered Craft. She works closely with the Adaka festival each year in Whitehorse and was also awarded the experience of being a Chilkoot Trail Artist in Residence. An accomplished artist and strong community pillar, Heather’s workshops encourage students to adopt new techniques in creating beautiful and customized pieces.
