Inspired by the Nations of the Pacific Northwest Coast, D’Arcy Moses’ first collection of evening wear was launched at the Toronto Festival of Fashion, New Designer Show during his residency at the Toronto Fashion Incubator. It was here that he first caught the minds and hearts of the media and the public. Since then, D’Arcy has worked successfully in the Canadian Fur and Fashion Industry and has won numerous awards for his work. His collection of blanket coats is inspired by the early trading days, while his evening gowns depict bold Aboriginal graphics and are often commissioned by celebrities. D’Arcy’s line has sold at numerous stores throughout North America, including Holt Renfrew, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
