DESCRIPTION:Junction Arts & Music Presents: Glacier Nights Snow Festival March 6–7\, 2026 ~ Snow Sculpting\, Live Music\, and Winter Fun Light Up Haines Junction \nHaines Junction\, YT — Junction Arts & Music (JAM) is excited to welcome the community back for the 4th annual Glacier Nights Snow Festival\, taking place March 6–7 in the heart of Haines Junction. This much-loved winter celebration brings together snow\, art\, music\, food\, and plenty of opportunities to connect—Yukon-style. \nAt the heart of Glacier Nights is the Snow Sculpting\, where artists transform massive blocks of snow into striking works of art. Joshua Lesage is the festival’s featured professional snow sculptor\, carving a dramatic 10’ x 10’ block that will be unveiled Friday night. Additional smaller blocks are reserved for the Amateur Snow Sculpting Competition\, taking place Saturday afternoon and open to all skill levels. Over the course of the event\, visitors can watch the sculptures take shape and enjoy the creativity and craftsmanship that has made Glacier Nights a signature winter celebration. \nAdding to the excitement\, Glacier Nights Snow Festival  will feature live music performances from Yukon favorites\, Dutch Handsome & The Ransoms\, as well as Qualité Hôtel\, an energetic band from Quebec\, bringing a mix of sounds to warm up the winter nights. \nThe festival offers something for all ages\, including: \n\nA silent auction raffle\nKids’ activities hosted by RPAY and the Boys & Girls Club\nA festive outdoor Ice Bar\nA local artisan market\nMultiple hands-on workshops (Joshua Lesage will host a sculpting workshop at 11 am Sat morning others to follow thorough the day) \nA Best Costume Contest – proudly sponsored by Yukon Brewing\nA Canteen hosted by St. Elias Community School Grads – annual fundraiser\nDance Party under the stars Friday and Saturday night\n\nGlacier Nights is more than a festival — it’s a celebration of winter\, creativity\, and connection. Residents and visitors alike are invited to bundle up\, come together\, and enjoy everything this unique northern event has to offer. All at once\, Jack Bennet gets dumped\, fired\, evicted\, and\, worst of all\, loses his beloved dog. With nothing left but his truck and a chainsaw\, he heads north—way north—to the Yukon.
