Hendrika
In this episode we present the rock band “Hendrika” from Whitehorse, Yukon. The trio performed at the outdoor stage of the Village Bakery in Haines Junction, Yukon, in August 2021. Singer, song writer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Selina Heyligers-Hare is fronting this all female trio. She was greatly inspired by classic rock of the 60’s and 70’ like Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Neil Young, Heart, so it is not surprising that tonight’s show will include covers of those bands. Selina, on electric guitar and lead vocals is joined by Tara Martin on drums and backup vocals, with Willow Gamberg on bass.
